Twelve more countries will be granted visa-free entry to Vietnam starting August 15th

On August 11, the government issued Resolution 229 on visa exemption under the tourism stimulus program for citizens of Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Nationals of these countries entering Vietnam for tourism purposes may stay for 45 days regardless of passport type. The policy will be in effect from August 15, 2025, to August 14, 2028.
